[When the feed opens up, it’s to a shot of grey, flurry-filled sky. A pair of voices can be heard somewhere offscreen, though it’s a bit hard to make out exactly what they’re saying. Especially when the face of a Magby soon overtakes the screen, making a number of curious noises. The camera jostles a bit as the pokemon filming this breathtaking scenery responds back to the Magby. Judging by the stubby little foot that comes into view a few moments later, the cameramon is an Elekid.]
[After a few moments of squabbling and jostling and scenic views of sky, trees, various buildings in New Bark Town and baby pokemon appendages, they manage to get the screen pointed at their initial target: two sets of legs shivering in the snow.]
I don’t know who taught that bird how to mother kids, but she’s doing a bushwa job of it. Who kicks their kids out in the snow and doesn’t give them an overcoat?
I d-d-d-d-don’t kn-know. I thought mothers were s-s-s-s-s’pposed t’... [She trails off for a good minute or so, shivering increasing, the chattering of her teeth still audible even though she’s not taking.] Y’know, Dame? I’m n-not really sure what mothers are s-s-s-supposed t’do, now that I think on it.
Wh-whaddaya mean, Broad? They’re supposed to...to... [The voice pauses, the owner thinking hard on this.] Ah phooey, who cares what they’re supposed to do. But they ain’t supposed to just kick their children out like that, that’s for sure! [Or maybe not. She sure doesn’t have a whole lot of conviction in her voice.] I mean, that’s just part of being a decent person!
[The second voice murmurs in agreement.] Think we’re getting a little s-s-s-sidetracked, though. Never mind “m-m-mother”, sh-sh-shouldn’t we focus on meetin’ up with the fellas? Sleuth looked t’be in p-p-p-p-pretty bad shape.
I th-think we should think more about wh-where we are. No use trying t’get to them if we’ve no idea where to start heading... [And that’s when she seems to notice the Pokemon playing with one of their devices, as she calls them over.] C’mere you rascals. What’re you doing, huh?
[When the little rascals in question fail to move, the woman decides to take matters into her own hands by walking over and snatching the gear away. After a few moments fumbling, the top half of her appears on the screen, revealing her to be a somewhat buxom, blue-eyed brunette wearing an elegant corset over a pale blue dress.]
I don’t think that’s a toy, you know.
[A moment later, her companion appears on screen, and it’s immediately clear why she was shivering so badly. as The second woman is rail-thin and, like her companion, wearing nothing more than a corset over a sleeveless dress, pale green. She’s blonde and despite the fact that it’s not summer, is wearing a pair of outrageously cool sunglasses. The two peer curiously at the device before accidentally ending the feed.]
[How does technology.]
((ooc: Blue is Hysterical Dame and green is Nervous Broad. Responses will come from both and those in New Bark/Route 29 are more than welcome to run into them in person. ♥))
